What happens if I don´t see any aurora?

*If you won’t see the Northern Lights on your private tour, you’ll be offered to join our bus tour on first possible night as a policy of Free Re-tries. Please send us an email at: hello@icelandicroamers.is . We unfortunately can’t offer you another re-try as private tour.

*Please note that it is not guaranteed that you’ll witness Northern Lights. We’re trying to run these tours only if weather and solar activity is favorable. Even if forecast is very positive – they might be just faint on the sky or not show up at all. This is just nature and we can’t know for sure even with all weather and solar activity forecast.

As this tour is fully dependant on the weather, we’re giving you final decision no later than 2h before the pick-up time whether it’s worth trying or perhaps it’s better to cancel or reschedule.

FAQ

What should I wear?

Icelandic weather is unpredictable. Bring warm and waterproof clothes, gloves & hat. Hiking boots are strongly recommended.

How many pictures will I get and how will they be delivered?

We’ll delivier a package of 10, fully edited pictures (unless you decide to purchase more). Within 7 business days you’ll get a link to the dedicated folder on our Google Drive, where your trip pictures will be uploaded.

What if the solar activity or weather doesn't cooperate?

We’re trying to run tours only if certain conditions are met. If solar activity is too low, sky looks cloudy or weather doesn’t permit to go for a hunt, we’re rescheduling the tour for next available day or canceling tour with a refund.

What happens when Northern Lights won't show up during tour?

Even though we’re trying to run tours only when activity and the weather is good enough, Northern Lights sometimes decide to not show up… We’re offering 30% discount on 2nd try.

What language(s) does the guide speak?

All our guides speak English. We can also arrange Spanish, French, Portuguese and Polish-speaking guides upon your request, depending on their availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund minus 10% transaction and administration fee
Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund
