  • Pick up time: 8:30

No matter what your destination, travel guides will always encourage you to take the most popular routes. While the must-see attrations may seem over-hyped and boring, it’s never the case in Iceland! When in Reykjavik, the famous Golden Circle is really not-to-be missed – and we’ll prove it.

What makes our excursion a truly unique experience is that our guides are professional photographers. You’ll be picked you up from the accommodation and drove around the area in a way you’ve never experienced before. The latter will document your adventure in mesmerizing photos – all this in price!

We’ll start with the largest attraction of the Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park. Cultural and historical values apart, the magnificent landscape is going to take your breath away. Needless to say, it gives you one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a stroll… between two continents! The rift valley you’ll walk, surrounded by gorgeous mountain and volcanic ranges, is located between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, which constantly moves apart. This will warm us up before the next treat for the eye, the Öxarárfoss waterfall and a special dive site called Silfra. No words can describe the beauty of its pristine clear water and the extremely low temperature does not discourage the most daring from exploring its mysteries, with an impressive visibility reaching 328 feet.

Our next stop will be Friðheimar (tomato farm), where we can have lunch right in the greenhouse. If tomatoes bring to your mind pictures of people celebrating the Spanish „La Tomatina”, this unique food experience in Iceland will change forever the way you think about these tasty red vegetables!

Powered by a healthy and delicious meal, we’re going to see the geyser who gave the name to all geothermal fields – the one and only Geysir. The entire area located in Haukadalur Valley is a hot spring paradise, keeping you entertained with spontaneous outbursts of hot water columns among endless clouds of steam. Prepare for an unforgettable spectacle of Iceland’s geological forces that will take you to the world of fantasy!

The last one of our three Golden spots is the enormous Gullfoss waterfall, one of the most powerful and iconic waterfalls in Iceland. Its grand cascades of water will astonish you with yet another display of nature’s untamed force.

We can’t miss the three thousand years old volcanic crater called Kerid either. The more awe-inspiring views (and photos!) the better, right?

If time – and your budget- allow, we can also take you for an exciting ride on horseback or snowmobile and for a swim in the oldest natural pool in Iceland: the Secreet Lagoon, locally known locally as Gamla Laugin. Just let us know what would you like to experience during this day!

Majestic glaciers, stunning waterfalls, hot geysers – no wonder the Golden Circle route is often called “Iceland in a nutshell”. Still, visiting it, even in a company of such an extraordinary guide as our adventure-seeking photographer, doesn’t mean you’ve seen it all! We do hope it will whet your appetite for more attractions. They’re waiting for you, so make sure to check out other tours we offer ☺
